Hotel delle Rose

Hotel delle Rose is situated at the foot of the east hill of the city of Rapallo, in a villa built in 1908 and planned to be the residence of an Admiral of the Navy. It's very conveniently located in a quiet green area but only 5 min walking from the city of Rapallo and it's beach boulevard. Entering the villa, the first one to greet you always is Birba, a lovely little dog who happily welcomes all guests. Cristina and Paolo Bertolini, who own the villa, are always helpful with a big smile on their face! Villa consists of 12 rooms on 3 floors, breakfast/dining area and a living room on the ground floor. All this area accessible to the guests throughout the stay and it really makes you feel like home! Prior to opening Hotel delle Rose, Paolo has made a carrier as chef in several important restaurants and hotels in Italy and is passionate about cooking. He organizes cooking classes for small groups, and during high season (from March to Sept) he also prepares delicious dinner experiences for in-house guests with very modest rates. Unlike in most small hotels in Italy, his breakfast has both sweet and savory choice and he bakes all the bread and cakes in the morning to serve them warm.
