O Paparico

O Paparico is well known in Portugal for many years however you would still not find it if you do not know where it is as the only thing that gives it away is a menu without a name on a small 100 year old house on one of Porto´s roads slightly outside of town. It is a "secret" restaurant whereas you can only get in with a reservation and you will need to knock on the door to get in. Once in the restaurant you think that you are in somebody´s living room with a great small bar (good drinks selection). Moving into the restaurant you have a great small semi private room in case you are around 6 pax. Ask for Sergio who will explain the menu to you - most main courses are for 2 and very generous. Great local cuisine executed with lots of passion and eye for produce.
